Mr. Mendieta has more than 24 years of experience focusing on federal, state, and local environmental resource permitting for wetlands and protected habitats. Mr. Mendieta’s expertise includes wetland delineations, federal and state permitting, the National Environmental Policy Act, environmental site assessment, and essential fish habitat (EFH). Over his career, Mr. Mendieta has served as project manager or project scientist on large-scale infrastructure projects, including roadways and water transmission mains, and on small- to large-scale restoration projects, including permittee responsible mitigation to mitigation banks. Mr. Mendieta’s professional experience has included: threatened and endangered (T/E) species surveys; water quality monitoring; wetland restoration design and implementation; alternative analysis; functional assessment for habitat impact; preparation and submission of environmental documents and reports; and development of mitigation plans. He enjoys public speaking.
